Who decides to stay?

Rosengarten
One of Polk/McMillan and maybe both
DJ
Asa
I’m sure I’m missing some more

I think Rosengarten is coming back. He needs too.
I honestly don't know about Polk and McMIllan. I think they both perceive themselves as having nothing left to prove in college, and even if they are 3-4th rounds picks, they probably have some type of NFL future. I think McMillan is a little skinny and soft for the NFL but Polk might be a sneaky good guy that hangs around for several years. In the Jermaine Kearse type of mold. Never a #1, but a solid depth guy that can show up in big moments.
ASA - LEAVE and DIAFF
DJ - With all the injuries, I'm not sure he'd get drafted. RB's are undervalued in NFL, RB's have notoriously low tread life, he's already damaged goods in the ankles and knees....I think DJ might come back to get healthy.
Will Muhammad come back?
-
DJ - Yes, but the foot thing is worrisome. Is it permanently damaged? Does that make sense for him to just go to the next level now or never or to collect an NIL bag?
Polk & McMillan should both come back but they're both old and I think are gone and don't blame them, especially with a new QB.
Rosengarten should be back after shitting the bed last night and should play left tackle.
Asa - I know he's not popular but I think he's good and coverage and a take if he wants to come back.
Giles - I thought there was excitement for him coming back then they didn't use him at all basically the last two games and they offered a Beav in the portal who seems like a better version of him.
Jabbar - He really turned it on the past few games and I think he has to be gone. -
This offensive line needs to take that game personally and have the best offseason ever. Roger put on more muscle in your lower half. Kalepo/Buelow lose 20 pounds and add muscle. Parker get to 290 and keep on doing what you're doing.
We really got to figure out the RB situation because this should be a power run/RPO heavy team with Rogers at quarterback next season. -
The past few? He was nails all season. I have to think he's gone.WoolleyDoog said:DJ - Yes, but the foot thing is worrisome. Is it permanently damaged? Does that make sense for him to just go to the next level now or never or to collect an NIL bag?

DJ and Rosengarten will return and that’s it imo.

He was good all season but really feel like he hit a different level once WE got to the P12CG.GreenRiverGatorz said:

Not sure he's better than a 4th/5th rounder no matter which draft he's. Super skinny, not that tall, not all that physical and not sure how fast he is. I think he's a good college corner that is on the edge of NFL rosters. I think his draft grade won't be very good and he's back.WoolleyDoog said:

We need Roger back more than anybody else.

Rosey should come back
Unless Polk/Mcmillen are going to magically test out of their minds in the underwear Olympics they should come back and try and play themselves into a 2nd round rather than go and get drafted 4-6 and be viewed as just another disposable WR, but I bet they both leave, even if NIL makes it easier, their QB is gone.
DJ is a good college RB, I love what he has done for UW, he does all the little things right, blocking, grit, toughness, I hope someone gives him a solid NIL deal... But he probably isn't a NFL RB, too old, too slow, too small, too many lower body injuries.
Asa is literally garbage, every snap he is on the field he is both a liability and wasting time that someone else on the team should be getting in experience. Its inexcusable that he is even on the two deeps, he isn't good in coverage and he is terrible at support/tackling. Especially in the era of free transfers, literally just grab guys from Fresno, FCS, IDGAF and throw bodies at the problem is preferable. -
Rosey and Mac stay
Everyone else is gone -
"DJ is too old to be an NFL RB" is not the take I expected to see today. I'm clutching my midsection like Mike over here.Houhusky said:Rosey should come back

Gonna miss Rome, a lot.

Since we're clearly not paying shit for high school recruits and arent exactly tearing it up in the transfer portal, isn't this what our NIL money is for? If not this, then what?

It's what made the season possible this year. Now you either have guys like Odunze, Fautanu, and Trice who are first rounders or guys like Polk, Johnson, McMillan, and Muhammad who are either super old and/or have injury issues and/or topped out what they can show so time to cash in the chips.bananasnblondes said:Since we're clearly not paying shit for high school recruits and arent exactly tearing it up in the transfer portal, isn't this what our NIL money is for?
