College and work buddy listened to us as I had speaker phone on and thought you guys were awesome and know your shit.

"Moldy Cheese that Stunk."
Apt analogy for this game. -
The only post-game podcast I will listen to. Can’t handle all the national guys talking about how Michigan dog walked us.
-
Have to say, this was the most bummer podcast we've done in a long, long time, even with how much we were bitching about the wins the past two years.

Sugar bowl win 14-1 eternal PAC12 champs.
The kicker?
Deboer is currently at Costco loading up on Folgers

So did anyone ever find out what happened to the disappearing Germ-Bern? Apparently there may have been a few missing special team/bench guys missing from the sideline too?
-
I’m still more disappointed in the offense than the defense

This pod was needed. I can’t listen to all the other uw pods today. Fellow degenerates are a must👌👌

Blue bloods should concern you.

Hip injury second half against Texas. Couldn’t play through it. Westover also had a leg injury in the sugar bowl but tuffed it out. Germie would’ve had a nice game last night with the two deep safeties forcing us to dink and dunk.Houhusky said:So did anyone ever find out what happened to the disappearing Germ-Bern? It's gonna be hard to win the 2-3 games against programs that can recruit so much easier in regions with so much more talent.jecornel said:Blue bloods should concern you.

What Michigan has done in recruiting seems very doable with what UW should be able to come close to doing NIL wise looking at their recent recruiting and portal classes. They're in a much better location though. Not only does their state produce more talent, the states around them do as well. The TE Gooding from Idaho and Mason Graham the DT from Anaheim and Roman Wilson really feel like legit 4-star guys who might have played for Petersen. Gotta find those guys on the West Coast. It was also enviable to go through Texas' depth chart and see they barely have any starters not from that state. Wild.BleachedAnusDawg said:

Both Michigan and Washington I think benefitted from the extra covid year and that's mostly over now.
I'm not thrilled with UW recruiting and portal recruiting though. Right now the top guy looks like he's not gonna make it in end because of academis.

UW simply needs to get bigger and quicker on defense. The offense should have played better, but it wasn’t exactly a surprise given some of the clunkers they put forth throughout the season.
Gotta start ponying up the NIL on the defensive line. -
