Heading to the airport

Late 4th decent chunk of Tejas fans got the Washington sucks chant. A group of them bolted immediately at the end. I mean bolted.

You’re not getting quality trip reports like this on Dawgman!jecornel said:Lots of Texas plates on I-10. That’s a looong drive after a loss like that. Lots of gracious fans after the game. Can’t really say that prior to the game. Some frats boys talking loads of smack on the way to the stadium. Lots of talk about their defensive front.

I found Longhorn fans to be completely underwhelming. Not overly obnoxious, but also not Nebraska classy or otherwise accommodating for what was effectively a home game for them. They're just a big, generic brand with forgettable Walmart fans.

The Washington sucks chant? You mean the Texas fight song?jecornel said:Lots of Texas plates on I-10. That’s a looong drive after a loss like that. Lots of gracious fans after the game. Texas “fans” forget about football most years after the annual Oklahoma loss. They flock to Houston bars in September but are nowhere to be found in November. All of them claim to have been at the 2005 Rose Bowl.GreenRiverGatorz said:I found Longhorn fans to be completely underwhelming. I witnessed a 40 year man crying in the stands in my section and walking down the ramp in the stadium, a girl consoling her “man” who was weeping controlably right there. I realize this is the minority but jeebus toughen up.jecornel said:Lots of Texas plates on I-10. That’s a looong drive after a loss like that. Lots of gracious fans after the game. I had a line of fans come by and wish us good luck and shake our hands after that. Again, I cant imagine myself doing that to Texas if I had suffered that devastating loss. Class act fan base for the most part. Yes, there were a few arrogant ones, but those were few and far in between.GreenRiverGatorz said:I found Longhorn fans to be completely underwhelming.
