I look at the Fresno State/ Oregon game as the key to how this rivalry will be going forward.... Fresno St. had a UW QB transfer and about the same recruiting talent that UW has created now under DeBoer. DeBoer lost to Mario "who is a terrible in game coach" but Oregon's talent differential was too much for Fresno. The last two years DeBoer has had D-1 talent recruited by another coach at UW. He coaches up very well, but now DeBoer has Fresno St. like talent again under his recruiting chops and Oregon is recruiting on an Ohio State level. Lanning is also a better coach than Mario... UW wont be able to hang on much longer with this much of a difference in talent.
DeBoer should take his coaching to the NFL and let the recruiting be done for him. His W's & L's can't survive the way he's recruiting.
What's telling is.... this should be the height of UW's recruiting and it's just not.
Plainly.... DeBoer can coach um up but he nor his staff can sell the vision of UW and that's got to be concerning to everything FUSKIE!! -
