Why, on earth, would we? commit to Air-Raid Roy Rogers instead of offering Fifita 2mil in NIL? He’s got the arm, mobility, and winning attitude.

    He’s like 5’10
    Maybe

The coaches believe in Mack. They needed a place holder. I wouldn’t be shocked if Macks ability makes the coaches play him over Rogers at some point early next year. If you pay big money for Fifita you’re basically telling Mack that he graduated from high school early for nothing. They won’t do that.
Fifita is proven at this point. While the Mack is still tbd

Interesting comment by the ESPN Alamo Bowl announcing crew regarding Oklahoma's true Freshman QB Jackson Arnold:

"Dillon Gabriel is off to Oregon, opening the door for Arnold, and some would say Arnold's arrival kind of pushed Gabriel out towards the Ducks."

True. Can’t argue with that but you know who’s watched a lot of Austin Mack play QB? DeBoer and Grubb and they seem to be high on him. If they didn’t think he could do it they’d have gone after someone with more meat on their college career. Rogers is here to bridge a gap.

Arizonas best Olineman opted out. The reconfigured line looks confused now that Oklahoma has started running stunts and twists. This will be a game unless the 5* OU freshman QB doesn’t have his reads down.

Not sure about that. This zona team will be scary in big12
The game seems to be working out just the way I said it would. If Arizona could block for Fifita he’s got guys running wide open all over the field. They can’t do it consistently enough for them to finish drives though. Too many hits on the QB. Too many FGs. Two turnovers and only up 6 is not good enough to pull the upset. Should be a tight game.

Until they hit the field, practice don’t mean shit. We have the resources to be able to afford a top 10 qb.
