Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.

I hate to be Debbie Downer, but. . .

FS1 replayed the Governor’s Trophy game. I watched it. Tell me, how on God’s green earth are we? going to beat anyone? Please talk me off the ledge.

We don’t cover the slant, we can’t tackle, we get up by a TD and call draw plays for nothing, we throw into triple coverage, we can't peel, we can't chop, we can't grate. We can't mince! We give up TD’s with nothing on the clock at the half. How are we winning this one?

All the biggest let down games were after facing Oregon, USC, and Oregon State which was a nationally hyped up game.

    You re-watched the wrong game.

Not trying to be an AH, but explain to me how I watched the wrong game. It was tied with 5 seconds to go.

    Kdb rope-a-dope > Shaw rope-a-dope

Shaw did it a little too hard to the point where they couldn't get back into playoff contention.

Again I just don't see it. UW improved: defense, RB, more depth at tight end, OL is just as good as last year's.

Texas added an 800 yard receiver, lost their starting RB, and appeared to benefit from a conference with no contenders. They're banking on some incredible leaps forward in development, etc from last year. The only thing that even concerns me is that they have some good assistants.

Watch the Tejas game against Houston. Everyone will be less worried about the game.

So far Deboner has consistently shown he gets teams up for games and can prepare like the best in the business.

This team will look like they did against Oregon rather than ASU.

Imminent rainstorm inside the superdome not withstanding.
