Thanks Taft!

I think a lot of voters would swap their vote to Mike today given what he showed last night. I’m sure many of them did not know what he overcame durning the season and prior to being at Washington. The main difference esteem the two is Mike’s team first attitude which he demonstrated all night long.

It feels a little bit like a missed opportunity, because Penix had inside position to win it heading into November.NeGgaPlEaSe said:I think a lot of voters would swap their vote to Mike today given what he showed last night. It’s a heavy trophy. I’m surprised OJ didn’t use his as the murder weapon.NeGgaPlEaSe said:

It's probably a blessing in disguise for him to not win it. The list of QB's who have won is 95% hot garbage.

Try harder in the playoffs

Fuck the Heisman as always

Flawed as it is, I like the Heisman despite and because of its flaws. Like college football itself, the imperfections make it interesting. The process is capricious and gets it wrong as often as right, and that’s ok. Penix should have won in that field. /crb

at least we dodged the curse. daniels sitting out the reliaquest bowl will be a special moment for the voters.GrundleStiltzkin said:Flawed as it is, I like the Heisman despite and because of its flaws. Fine indeed. -
It’s all about the people that helped you get there @themikepenix What an amazing way to honor his coaches and teammates, by bringing them with him on the inside of his amazing suit jacket. pic.twitter.com/A7CrVsSn8B

It was a close vote. Joel Klatt voted Penix #1 on his ballot (so he says on his youtube channel).
