I think a lot of voters would swap their vote to Mike today given what he showed last night. I’m sure many of them did not know what he overcame durning the season and prior to being at Washington. The main difference esteem the two is Mike’s team first attitude which he demonstrated all night long.

Flawed as it is, I like the Heisman despite and because of its flaws. Like college football itself, the imperfections make it interesting. The process is capricious and gets it wrong as often as right, and that’s ok. Penix should have won in that field. /crb
