Not saying he was perfect, but when you hold Alabama 150 yards and 15 points under their season average, that'd putting your team in a position to win. Or Ohio State 200 yards and 14 points under their season average, you're giving your team a chance to win. Penn State the D sucked so no arguments there.
As for the conference games, we gave up 13 to ASU and 6 to Cal. Pete should've been tarmac'd for not scoring 14 on either and only getting 3 against Ute in the P12CCG -
