    8 hours from Nashville and I recommend this option because the drive takes you through Tuscaloosa. Get out of your rental car and say we want Bama to their face.
    I’ll be passing through Tuscy, Starkville, and Oxford on the way to night one in Memphis. From there I’ll work my way south via the Mississippi delta through Vicksburg and Natchez on to New Orleans.

    Airfare (had miles), rental car, and 5 nights in hotels = under $1,000. The biggest expense will be the ticket to the game.
