I’ve seen Texas play and IMO, they’re playing good ball. They’re physical, fast, and talented. Also IMO, the Huskies are being overlooked by lazy sports media types. If any had actually watched the CCG, they’d know this narrative of the Huskies still being one dimensional and lacking physicality is complete bunk. There are still some tackling issues, but the Dawgs are biting harder than their bark now. They’re getting after it on defense and are showing the kind of balance on offense you need to beat elite teams. They’ve shown they’re capable of sustaining long drives to eat up the clock and wear down the opponents defense while resting the Huskies D. They’re dangerous. While I was watching yesterday, RGIII and one of the other guys he was with both went Huskies.

Texas has the most talented roster in the nation (everybody says so).
Seriously though, they do have studs at every level. The issue is coaching and how badly the team wants to win. Sometimes they look distracted in the games I've watched. (They look like Sark-coached teams, basically.)
They did have some good players sit out last year's Alamo Bowl, IIRC. I think their top two RBs didn't play. So they are definitely better than last year, just like UW is.
I think if Ewers is on his game, this will be a very close one. Thinking a key turnover late will be the deciding factor. I like my Dwags in this one, 42-38. -
