I assume in one of the columns you cropped out Jerry Palm explained why he thinks we don't belong in the top 25?

Big difference between ESPN’s predictions and CBS predictions.
The article above shows predictions from about 8 dudes and only 1 has Bama making it in as a 4 seed; the SEC is left out in the rest.
ESPN has Bama over FSU is what I’ve seen this morning. -
Follow up. ESPN has 15 dudes selecting their top 4. Michigan, UW, Texas are unanimous picks and FSU gets 8 votes vs 7 for Bama.
Surprisingly, we? got 9 votes as the number 1 seed. -

CBS has 9 dudes. 3 of them have us? at number 1. -
Weirdly I’d want UM and UW to STAY! at the 2 and 3 slots to preserve a traditional Rose Bowl one last time.

Being No. 1 is the way.

There is not a team in the conversation that scares me.
Correction: All teams in left in the conversation scare me equally, but all are beatable when Washington is clicking. Washington having to play essentially an away game against a team that backed into the playoffs with a loss is fucking twash. I'm way more concerned with venue than opponent. Rose Bowe or this is fucked. Make us(?) the four seed to set up Michigan in the Rose for all I care, just make it happen*.
*I guess there is one benefit to being the 1 or 2 seed, and that's eliminating ANY possibility of having to see the Huskies end this season in all-whites. But that's a bridge to cross later.
