    2: DeBoer outcoached him. Again.

    3: Nix is what he has been. Great against lesser defenses, not too good against GA or Bama types.

    4: Lanning has a few steps to go to get to Kirby or Saban standards

    5: Be glad he’s out

    6: He’s young. Recruit and be passionate.

    7: saw some saying he would be the next coach at Bama once Saban retires. No way.

    He gets another year from me, no problem.

    Completely bizarre season. Lost 2 games by a total of 6 points (to one team), won the rest by about 300.

    You can see player improvement under this staff unlike under the last 3 guys.

    You are shooting the messenger. You said it was a bizarre season and I pointed out why it wasn't that bizarre when analyzed properly. Another aspect is that Oregon missed Arizona on the schedule and they proved to be the 3rd best team in the conference. If Arizona and Oregon had played, Arizona would have had a decent shot of winning (2 of their 3 losses were in OT and their 3rd loss was to UW by 7 at home).

    Not to mention they got Arizona and Oregon back to back, and the bye week meant nothing because Oregon got one too.

    Stranger year for Washington than Oregon I’d say.

    Kind of reminds me of 2001 Oregon who had a ton of close calls but had the underlying grit to get it done. But did hit one landmine.

    They are a better team than they were under Cristobal (sorry @creepycoug ) except for against UW which is an oddity quite honestly
