    The thinking now is that in such a scenario Bama leaps all the way to 3, passing unbeaten FSU and has to play us in the Rose Bowl, which makes the H2H with Texas irrelevant.
    Heads will roll if an undefeated P5 team is left out. No way that happens.
    That scenario is
    1 Mich
    2 UW
    3 Bama
    4 FSU

    5 Texas if they win, maybe Georgia

    All undefeated are in plus the SEC champ. And they move Bama ahead of FSU so there is no “Texas beat Bama they should be in” discussion. FSU isn’t left out but gets passed by Bama to prevent that blabbering.
    I would rather see:

    1 Mich
    2 UW
    3 FSU
    4 Bama
    And that’s great. Long as you have a SEC representative up in it. They can absolutely be 4. Just have em in it. Caus they gone win it regardless. If don’t have em in it, ? It’s not correct or a CFP or Accurate in any means. Gotta have them in the final 4 and beat em. Then pop off.

    Problem is, too many folks POP OFF and ain’t beat em..

    Absofknlutely they are.
    Bama, Texas, Michigan, and FSU all winning is the only suspect scenario. But the CFP has a bigger SEC hard-on than you do and they'll perform whatever gymnastics are needed to get the SEC in.

    Meh, no hard on. Just thoughts. Maybe biased thoughts, admittedly, but IDT anyone in this country in CFB is beating Bama or GA right now. No one.
