    5. Keg Boy

He already affirmed his undying love for Oregon and eternal loyalty to the ghost of uncle Phil

Why would Deboer leave after winning a national championship

If that happens they’ll never let him leave Ann Arbor, I agree.

There aren’t many jobs better than Washington. They exist, so don’t twist. But I doubt the national writers and bloggers will ever understand it.

I'm a bit confused as to why DeBoer would be a hot commodity?

I thought the way you get top 5 coaching jobs was to win 7 games, show up to work drunk a lot, and then do some repentance calisthenics.

    Sark is my hero

    My read:

Michigan, Ohio State, USC or Texas I would generally understand

Oklahoma, Penn State, Nebraska, UCLA would be an odd move but plausible

Coaches at UW don't seem like they'd transition to the SEC or Florida schools

Deboer going to any other schools would be surprising

On Thursday morning, the University of Oregon Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve a contract extension for Oregon Duck head football coach Dan Lanning. Lanning's extension increases his yearly salary from $4.7 million to $7 million, increasing by $200,000 each year through 2028.Jul 27, 2023

^ and that was a desperation play before Oregon knew that the B1G stuff was for sure happening.

Smith now makes more at lowly Michigan State.

SEC gets Lanning whenever they want him.

SEC(aTm) wanted Lanning and couldn’t even talk to him.

James and Peterman thought retirement was better than working for Washington.

I understand it fine. Let’s have this be one of the few threads where you’re able to keep yourself from getting emotional and throwing a fit.

We’re already 2-3 posts away from you reminding everyone that you were STEM tract at U-Dub 15 years ago.
