It's not that he can't be patient (there have been instances this year where that was clearly the approach) ... but it usually isn't something he pivots to very well in the middle of a game.
The one designed play to Westy was successful and would have gone a long ways had Penix not turned it into a circus catch. -

2 NFL tackles, NFL RB, NFL QB, NFL blocking TE, two NFL receivers, Westy who could probably find his way onto a squad nothing should be slowing down this offense.
Not to mention Brailsford likely playing his way to the NFL. Buelow probably gets a shot at the next level.
