McMillan

So then what is it? Business decision? Coward? Abundance?

He played exactly the same as Polk did. Ran routes and dropped catches.
-
Lack of reps, muscle memory. He can’t catch the ball right now
-
That one he ole’d was embarassing.

He needs more time in college if he can’t handle the beavers when it’s wet.NeGgaPlEaSe said:Lack of reps, muscle memory. He can’t catch the ball right now

Him and Polk sucked in Corvallis. I don't expect that to be the case on Saturday
-
he needs more time... but seriously need just more reps to get back to his form. Hopefully cougs will be great for his confidence boster
-
Head issue on top of rust is a bad combo. Good week to get things going again versus the Cougs.

Too easy.dirtysouwfdawg said:

Polk has been huge for two years
And when McMillan and Wife comes back strong you all will be sucking him off again.
We haven't had all three for months
CCG. Nothing else matters
On this team this year I think the guys are out there if they can be. Not always the case -
That was Polks first and last bad game since DeBoer got here
-
Did McMillan borrow his knee brace from one of the o-linemen?

Not a popular opinion but Polk played himself out of being a second day pick. All the bullshit he talked and then he played like dog shit. Rome played himself into maybe the first receiver picked.dirtysouwfdawg said:

What’s your point. NFL plays in bad weather. Was he a second day pick? I’ve yet to see him as a second round pick on any major mock drafts.EsophagealFeces said:

It was one fucking game. He’s played in other bad weather games and performed just fine. He was fucking terrible Saturday night, I’m not refuting that. One bad game doesn’t ruin two years of outstanding performance. I hope he’s not a day two pick. I want him to come back.NeGgaPlEaSe said:

Every indication is that the injury wasn't anything structural, but from the sounds of it he's never experienced a significant injury before.
The lack of confidence in his knee seems to be the biggest thing, and trying to bring him back twice against Oregon and Stanford only for him to last one drive didn't seem to help. The evaluation by the Seahawks doctors should've given him some hope that his leg wouldn't fall apart when he cuts and that it's mostly in his head.
He's now "finished" two games in Utah and Oregon State. Wasn't targeted against Utah and dropped one or two against the Beav, which probably didn't help the confidence either. He's clearly in his head and needs a couple of easy catches and a few hits before he starts getting back up to speed. -
That was cold and wet and uw was stupid to be throwing heat seeking missiles down the field. Nobody was catching with their hands consistently if at all. Romes big catches were on body too. Still impressive, but not the same as trying to snag a heater extended in the air. He is not losing draft status. His hands are his best asset.NeGgaPlEaSe said:

Grubb needs to call an easy slant or out for him. Just catch the ball after a 5 or 7 yard route and get it out of his system.AtomicDawg said:

If he doesnt get a second round draft grade, might as well get paid to play in college -
By the time the CCG rolls around, he will have had basically the equivalent of a spring camp’s worth of practices to knock the rust off. We don’t need him to beat the cougs, and he’ll be fine for Oregon when we actually need him.

He needs to catch a contested pass in an actual gameCatGut said:By the time the CCG rolls around, he will have had basically the equivalent of a spring camp’s worth of practices to knock the rust off. We don’t need him to beat the cougs, and he’ll be fine for Oregon when we actually need him.

He’s done that a million times. After everything else the coaches have done in the last two years, I certainly trust them to get his confidence and conditioning back to where it needs to be by the Oregon game.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

He would need to be more like a 5th round pick for the money to come close. This has already been covered with regards to Polk.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

If I were an NFL GM looking for a receiver late first round, I'd be thrilled to get Polk. -
Over the other receivers showing up in the second round mock drafts?DerekJohnson said:
