I’m really torn. My wife is paying for me to take a trip with my buddies for my upcoming 40th birthday, and we were originally planning on going to AZ for the Waste Management open/golf trip, but now I want to go watch the Dwags. My dilemma is: do I go to Vegas or hold out for a playoff game? I’ve already been to the P12 championship game in 2016, so I’m planning to hold out, pray we win out, and go to the last real Rose Bowel against Michigan or OSU. That would be fucking epic

Cousin_de_Jour is getting married. She wanted a winter wedding. As my family loves football, she actually did her due diligence and checked the NFL and CFB schedules to make sure her nuptials didn’t clash with any big games. However, she didn’t know about the Pac 12 Championship game…so you can guess what Friday I saw when the Save the Date arrived.

My uncle (a Duck) and I might be at each other’s throats at the reception.

That is a tough call. Personally I’d go with the sure thing in Vegas and do the CCG, but that’s just me.

I think I’m just going to hold off and hope for the playoff. Worst case scenario, I have escaping northern Idaho in January to golf in Arizona as a fall back plan.

You’re not the first person that had their escape plan from @trublue double wide all planned out. If you hear the backhoe running between the hours of 2 and 4 AM you have less time than you think.

I had tickets and sold them as I’ve gotta take LoneStarDawgJr on his first camping trip with his kindergarten classmates. FML.

I’m going to be on a private ranch in central Texas with a 8.1% chance of 2G cell coverage. I’ll probably have to climb in a tree and hold my cell phone over my head to listen as herbsteit tells us Oregon still looks like the better team after they go 0-3 on 4th down to lose.

But I’ve got plans for rosebowl and Houston if the situation arises.

Greenskeepers is one of the best events I've ever attended (admittedly we didn't watch much golf that day). Highly recommend that and a day at 16 if you have the time

4 of us heading down to the P12 CCG. Should all but guarantee a loss

Luckily I am driving distance from Vegas. Will be taking middle child little atomic since 1st born little atomic and I flew in for the Oregon game. There are only so many qb/coach combinations this good in a lifetime so I will ride with the DePenix when I can.

Pretty much played out like that. Took LoneStarDawgJr camping with his school buddies.

broke down a whole prime NY strip roast into steaks because #texasforever

Watched CCG over one bar of LTE in the middle of nowhere under my sleeping bag cover so my son could sleep. Bought rosebowl tickets 30min after the game ended.
