A lot of laughed after Rowe tried to make it sound so ominous. We know Bruener is a whole dude out there. More worried about having the safeties out until I saw DJ U wasn't throwing hot fire.

DJ ukelele has never impressed me or scared me as an opposing QB. I get that he wanted to go someplace to be in a pro style offense, but the dude has never been a good passer and he’s too slow to scare you as a runner.
He’s serviceable and all, but not scary to play against. -

Tuli got dinged last night and the D needs him 100% for the Championship game.
Do people think Drew Fowler is good enough to be in the two deeps next year or will the staff need to portal in a Soph or Jr? -

A lot of butthurt homers in this thread. The broadcast was fine. Good even. Holly Rowe does nothing for me, but I'll take Fowler and Herbie over almost anyone. Wild to bitch about random one-off remarks when Rod Gilmore and Beth Mowens have jobs.

A portal LB would be good. But it’s a much lower priority than QB, DT, S, TE. -
I like Fowler and Herbstreit, but I wasn't a fan of their analysis of the DPI call in the endzone and then calling the ensuing TD "penalty assisted". Tried to say the ball landed well short of Odunze, but that was because the defender grabbed him so he couldn't come back to the ball and make a play.
Fowler also made a big deal about the punter kicking the ball out of the endzone. "You can't do that! You can't blatantly kick the ball out of the endzone!" even though that's what every team is coached to do in that situation. Didn't bother me, though. Thought it was funny. -
