That's a pretty big exaggeration of the # of hits Penix takes and the way he is throwing the ball. Price got sacked about 30 times per season and hit probably 3X that often. Penix has been sacked 12 times in 23 games at UW. I don't think he gets hit more than maybe 1X additional per game.FireCohen said:

Also Penix is still zipping dimes 54 yards down field with no crow hop. If his throwing is altered by some injury, it's only affecting his touch/timing/accuracy not his arm strength. -

He’s throwing high and outside fastballs to guys 10 yards away then unreal downfield shots that literally no other qb in America is making.
He’s a tough kid but does get sped up by pressure and getting hit affects his reliability more than it might a kid who doesn’t have his injury history.
That said, he’s the war daddy qb in Cfb this year. -
If Penix played 11 games at his peak he'd be one of the greatest ever
It's a testament to his skill that we're disappointed to see the ball hit the turf
I think he is sore like any player in November and Husky Stadium really can be tough
Just put it together for the CCG into the playoffs -

Anybody else notice this is the first quarterback we have had in decades that can hit the drop throw? How many effing years have I seen a wide open receiver over thrown by 10 yards. Or ‘dilloned’ ? (Thrown behind the receiver)
