Sucks that the wind only blew on UW possessions during that first half, Barnes was really slinging it early.

Always makes me laugh when teams are getting boatraced on defense, then adjust by “simplifying” or “getting back to basics and fundamentals” and suddenly perform well as a result.
This is code for shitty defensive coaching. Sounds to me like DeBoer told Inge and Morrell at halftime to quit being dumbshits and trying to do too much against a team that has less talent on the field than UW has.

My jaw dropped on the two touchdown throws to Rome and the RPO fade to Polk. Penix is just an unbelievable player.
