where the Edmund Fitzgerald sunk on the big Lake Washington - that is by the stadium - you can sail gate -Michael Penix and Rome Oduzne put on a show. The percentage was down but the long throws were back and it was tuff out there

Beating the fuck out of the Rocky Mountain bullies in the 2nd half with our new found running game was cool

Watching the game without the stress of expectations and worrying about losing and you'll see one of the better efforts of the season. The 2nd half defense was the best of the season continuing a trend

Asked at the start of the 4th quarter what UW needed to do DeBoer said "The little things like carrying the ball into the end zone before dropping it"

100 wins. Thankfully the lack of fancy recruiting will keep the Aggies interested in more flashy alternatives. We'll stick with substance. We are fucking rooted in it and built for this and 10-0 for the second time in history

Let's go pound some beaver

Stop being so miserable for a minute and watch it

The Utes gained just 76 total yards of offense in the second half after putting up 306 in the first two quarters and zero points

    Really sucked huh?

Sucks that the wind only blew on UW possessions during that first half, Barnes was really slinging it early.

Always makes me laugh when teams are getting boatraced on defense, then adjust by “simplifying” or “getting back to basics and fundamentals” and suddenly perform well as a result.

This is code for shitty defensive coaching. Sounds to me like DeBoer told Inge and Morrell at halftime to quit being dumbshits and trying to do too much against a team that has less talent on the field than UW has.

    Just play football, assholes.

Yes, I was saying that to my seatmate that the Defensive Play-call on the long pass before the half was FS. Unless someone blew an assignment, having Dom Hampton as the lone deep guy was malpractice.

    Better tackling also helped.

The legend lives on from the Duwamish on down of the big dick they call Big Penix Energy. The defense it is said never rolls over dead when the skies of November turn gloomy.

Go rewatch the USC 2nd half. Defense played much better.

The trend of our defense playing like paraplegics with downs syndrome for the first three quarters before somehow finding their nuts when it matters most. Only this time we found our nuts for the entire second half.

Starting Nunley in the 2nd half seemed to help a lot. Glad he’s out of the dog house.

He's back. Didn't notice that. Good catch

My jaw dropped on the two touchdown throws to Rome and the RPO fade to Polk. Penix is just an unbelievable player.

That throw to Polk was ridiculous. It's hard to pick one of those over the others but I'd go with that one.

Couldn’t step into the throw with a free rusher in his face, just a perfect flick. We are blessed.

First look I thought he got crushed before he released it. I couldn't see the ball because I was looking for it on the turf or fluttering through the air toward the defense.
