You don't hear as many DJ comparisons any longer. It used to be nothing but "so and so is the next Don James because he was the assistant to the assistant defensive end coach" in 1991.
Anyway the comparisons are practically meaningless since players can transfer much more easily and it doesn't any time at all really to "get his guys in there." -
