The original fights were the best. Only rules were no eye gauging and no hitting in the balls IIRC. They were nuts! A French fighter kicked a guy in the face and had to have a number of the guys teeth removed from the top of his foot after the fights were over. He fought another bout or two with them in! The Gracies were local and frequented our business and my oldest brother trained there. It was their gig back then. Asked us to buy in but we declined.
