I love signing day and reading about who UW signed and projecting and all that other BS. The news and reports and tweets and FB posts and LPT opinions and everything else leading up to signing day is just noise...it's adult men gossip and it's just weird.

It would be interesting to take the same criteria used to apply stars to incoming freshmen 2-3 years into their career and compare the potential upside to reality. Not that I'd expect any scouting site to do research that would probably show how far off base they are when it comes to player evaluation or that coaching matters more than star ranking.
