The 6-foot, 218-pound Johnson, the Mississippi State transfer, is beginning to show high value as a running back after getting bogged down by a troublesome knee injury that he brought with him to Montlake. He comes off a 16-carry, season-high 91 yard, 2-touchdown rushing effort at Arizona, which included a 45-yard run.

With his speed and power, Johnson doesn't often go down on the first hit.

"Dillon the last few games, has come on pretty strong and gotten healthier every week and we feel good about where he's at," Grubb said.

LOL...That's great, he's getting healthy...but who the fuck knows how to run block on that line. Can't count on every team you play to have 2-star DL and throw a prevent defense out there.

Expect the IOL, lol. And it's a much better DL for Oregon than a year ago.

Can't count either? They teach math up there or is "Academic Prowess" exempt from that aspect of education.

The pass rush is markedly better no matter how the game goes on Saturday.

I feel like I’m reading the script for the next Dr. Pepper commercial.

For those going mental over UO fans saying the D and pass rush are better, this thread started with the premise that UW has a secret rushing attack.

Plus the top 2 backs are averaging 6+ YPC. I think we're fine, the 3rd least pressures allowed with a passing attack that's predicated on pushing the ball unlike Willy Stein.

Comparing variables which are not equal in an argument is fucking stupid. If the same two teams played the same opponents then you may have something

So, Oregon has 18 sacks on 159 passing attempts. This must be someone tallying every single rep on every single play to see if they won their one on one battle? I care more about whether the pass attempt as a whole was a pressured attempt or not. It takes a unit.
