Could you define the exact scenarios with and without that bill in place? I could make a reasonable guess, can you?SFGbob said:
Weird how you don't address the $2.2 Trillion spending bill that Trump signed, and it's impact on inflation. Yeah, I'm sure DeSantis is somehow to blame for that as well.RaceBannon said:Ron wants to make it an issue he needs to answer for locking down Florida

Trying to lay the entire inflation problem at the foot of Trump is H levels of disingenuous. I doubt that's what RDS means to do but that's exactly what its going to get spun into...which for RDS is either a terribly politically naive move or politically desperate in nature. Both of those things are reasons he's not up for what's at stake.

The problem for you is that almost no one buys any of the bullshit Ron pitches because they don't trust him and he's disingenuousSFGbob said:
Naaah, the Trump isn't responsible for the bills he signs is a whole new take. I like you, you know that, but you're embarrassing yourself. If we were friends who saw each other on a regular basis we'd be in the "we can't discuss politics at all" zone.RaceBannon said:

Inflation is on Biden. -
Go easy on that straw man's ass. I've not tried to lay the entire inflation problem on Trump. The only people revising history are the people claiming that Trump only signed it due to it being passed by a Veto proof majority and that a President isn't responsible for legislation that he signs.Bob_C said:

There is also zero evidence that Ron was against the CARES act in the moment. He can pretend otherwise, but there aren't any receipts.
Only Massie has the receipts.

I would submit that the reason Trump is doing so much better with independent voters and women is twofold
Biden and the democrats are insane
Trump actually did take covid seriously and tried to avoid crashing the economy.
If Trump is responsible for inflation he's also responsible for the most jobs created in history as in the people going back to work that Biden takes credit for. Yes it's bullshit but still
If this has nothing to do with DeSantis who is desperately trying to find an issue then what does it have to do with?
-
