Thanks, Thanker-of-Taft!

It’s been a busy morning.
-
If I was Mark Schmor I'd be embarrassed to put my name to that list.
-
-
All dooging aside, would y’all really put ASJ over Gronk though?
-
Never will forget ASJ’s dropped pass from Nick Montana at Oregon St. No one within 30 yards of the guy.DerekJohnson said: -

Was it a ranked Oregon State?MelloDawg said:

Never knew Brunell played TE.RaceBannon said:Mark Brunell

How about Bruener smart ass?

Way to blow up my post
-
And I know you meant Mark Bruener.
All kidding aside, ASJ was mediocre at best.
I'd put Aaron Pierce, Cam Cleeland, Bill Ames, & a few others ahead of him. -
That's kinda what I do.RaceBannon said:Way to blow up my post

A legacy of tight ends better than ASJPurpleBaze said:And I know you meant Mark Bruener.

I know you just eat nachos all day but you must really not have a job. Respek.CFetters_Nacho_Lover said:It’s been a busy morning.

Not many teen bois to stock at 4am so the professional stocker must turn his attention elsewhere at that hour.dirtysouwfdawg said:

ASJ is a stats guy. He was definitely good yet I can't remember him doing much in big games at big moments. These lists are prone to overrating guys like that. In defense, I think Gronk barely played like 1.5 seasons at Arizona healthy.
-
I get the ASJ hate I think. I think it's a little over the top too. He didn't seem to be a hard worker and had discipline issues off the field. OTOH he was pretty damn good as a receiver and blocker. There were games where running behind him was the only way Sark could consistently move the ball.WoolleyDoog said:ASJ is a stats guy. As far as showing up in big games goes, I question whether he ever played in one. -
Hunter Bryant felt like the Joe Tryon of TEs. Was hyped up and pretty good but I just didn't like them that much

He was great until he got hurtCanadawg said:Hunter Bryant felt like the Joe Tryon of TEs. Was hyped up and pretty good but I just didn't like them that much

ASJ was no Kavario☝️

Hunter would be playing on Sundays if his knees were not so fucked up.Canadawg said:Hunter Bryant felt like the Joe Tryon of TEs. Was hyped up and pretty good but I just didn't like them that much

Their careers couldn't have been much different. Bryant was an elite teen boi who everyone wanted who came in with massive hype. Tryon's best offer was Cuog until we offered like a week before signing day.Canadawg said:Hunter Bryant felt like the Joe Tryon of TEs. Bryant produced here when healthy. Tryon started producing right before he went to the league.
Bryant was an UDFA. Tryon was a first round pick.
Just two completely different players and trajectories. -
ASJ was good. I'd crawl through a sewer line to get him on last year and this year's teams. A healthy Bryant might have been even better. Odd to say given he's only been off the team for a few years but he is a player who feels like he's built for the current game.chuck said:
