Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.

Is DJ > Taulapapa ?

I think he is. Wayne was good especially in big moments. I think Cam Davis would’ve been even better than DJ this year. Oh well. Good portal. Still would like to see Dick. Free Dick.

This is why I don’t bother posting here. The running back room is interesting to me. Not enough HH lingo and inside jokes to pass the @Baseman test.

No he’s not. DJ was hurt, he’s just getting his rhythm again.

He’s not as good as Wayne? That was the question in the post title (DJ>WT).

DJ is better than anyone UW has had for a few years. He's a tank and damn good in the open field, and how about that diving catch?

Maybe Cam Davis was ahead at one point but what I've seen if him in the past would put him behind Nixon. Nixon is also a big upgrade this year imo. Quick and runs hard

Cam was only ahead because Davis was nursing an injury. Dude has been here longer than this coaching staff and still has not been the man. Yes they miss him but Nixon is playing well and Tybo as soon as he stops spinning will be great

DJ was hurt and sat out against Tulsa. He's looked completely difference since then

He needs to be running the ball at least 20 times a game. He is criminally underused right now.

Yes. Just pointing out the large pile of shitposts and doomgloom about UW running backs early on.

Running game looks more than capable to me.

I disagree. I love what I’m seeing from DJ, but I’d say 12-15 rushes and a handful of passes is good for now. Keep him fresh, and continue to develop Nixon and Tybo. This offense doesn’t need one guy running 20+ times. Especially one coming off a knee injury.

It was atrocious. I’m 81% confident I could dig up you shit posting about how bad it was to start. I just don’t have the time or patience to dig.

But yes, now a positive. Not sure who the best D is that we’ll face but it feels like they have enough balance at this point to punish someone playing 7 DB’s.

He’s good at the goal line and short yardage. That’s a big plus.

Towelpopper wasn’t really good at that.

Nah, I said the running game was shit against Boise (it was) but wasn’t ready to give up on it.

What's true now may not be true five minutes from now. What was true then may not be true now, but that doesn't make it any less true then.

    Paraphrased from memory.

I don't remember if I said so but I wasn't impressed with Johnson after game one.
