Gotta appreciate his effort in the run game. Looks stiff and a little slow, though. Terrible technique. A little Kalepo-y, and that may be generous.

Thanks Taft!

Reminds me of Abe Lucas when he was at Archbishop Murphy in Everett. Not saying he’ll develop into a second round pick but he does look big, mean and a little stiff like Lucas did.

I don’t like it at all but you always need a guy like Corey to come in his 6th year and captain the O line as a center. Plus I don’t hate Huff anymore as he and Shep are the two who get LIPO’s on lightly contested recruiting wins.

Kalepo is who I thought of too. Considering he just got D1 offers this season hopefully he's still early in his development.NorwegianHusky said:Gotta appreciate his effort in the run game. Looks stiff and a little slow, though. Terrible technique. A little Kalepo-y, and that may be generous.

No issue with developmental OL prospects as long as they check the key boxes (size, attitude, and baseline athletic ability)
Can teach technique and develop the body
If you’re not expecting someone on the field for 3 years … there’s plenty of room to take a flier -
Good point. Not saying he'll be All Big 10 at all but some guys don't put it all together until their senior year. He can doesn't take the next step, he could always transfer to Fresno State after a couple of years since they offered him.Neighbor2972 said:
