Hate to break it to ya, Yella, but Pilsner and Kolsch are the faggy beers.

    I'm a (50%) Kraut. It's in my blood.

Newport Market in Bend stocks all the faggy @haie beers.

5440 is my favorite brewery and place to get drunk in the entire NW.

    Location: A+
    View: A+
    Beer: A
Lack of faggots while being there: A+*

*some weeks there are some bike hipsters there, but mostly it's blue collar workers from the industrial district which is what you want. Similarly to why ghostrunners has a good crowd.

Fuck, inspires me to hit them up this week. A bit out of my way.
I feel like I’m basically drinking 81 percent Bend, PDX metro, and Pfriem these days. The remainder is Messican stuff and Coors Banquet for my pod @CFetters_Nacho_Lover

I wish they sold Manny’s Pale ale in a can so I could support Seattle more. I don’t like Johnny Utah as much.
    Kind of hate Seattle's offering.

Big Time will have some random new thing I'll try during the season.

Hellbent brewing and everything else is very forgettable.

It kind of makes sense that they would be inferior to Vantucky, the Peninsula, etc.
I don't hate Seattle, but I feel like I've been getting betting variety from PDX, Vantucky and Hood River.

Zoiglhaus and Occidental in PDX really excel at the Eurofag type syles that I like. Pfriem might be my favorite overall craft brewer in the PNW.

Bend is a little too IPA centric for my taste but still good overall.
You should. What is wrong with you?
People forget, I voted with my feet more than anyone here @TurdBomber .
One bright spot from your old hood is the NE Seattle Little League team that's one game from the U.S. Championship at the LLWS.

The parents look like a little Brier-ish ;) NTTAWWIT, but the kids seem pretty good.

With the advent calendar you will see that it doesn't matter which style if beer, German beers do not fill you up and still maintain more flavor. This year I need to look up the dunkelweizen cans they offer and see how I can get them regularly.

Nothing says good beer like year old stale cans rotting at room temperature in a box at Costco.

Only been to Northeastern Germany and some of the tourist places like Stralsund and some of the old Prussian castles around there.

Don't regret the trip because I don't know when any American will get to go to St. Petersburg again but regret not staying in Germany a lot longer.

Much respect to east Germany for being the only place I visited that won't conform to Americans and speak English to them. Mostly cold assholes until they realize that you can also speak Deutsch.

I've only been to Rhine River Germany- i.e., Cologne, Koblenz and Heidelburg.

Went to some blue collar pub in Koblenz, where their definitely were not skrong on English (or pretended to be). Drank my first Bittburger on draft (was in HS) and it's was great. Still love to by some Bittburger @BleachedAnusDawg that's been rotting away on a Coscto shelf, listening to Cornell '77 on the drive home.

I’ll say this based on my 2 years in Germany from 2003-2005, most of the Germans I interacted with would tolerate Americans speaking broken, poor German for a few moments before telling us “I speak English”

I was just outside Frankfurt and between work and having a 1 and 5 year old, I didn’t travel as much as I wanted but I definitely enjoyed the traveling I did do and would go back in a heartbeat.

It's fresh hop season. Was recently in Yakima and the town had the smell of hops in the air. Single Hill Brewing makes some awesome hazy IPA.
