Seattle bikers FS

Downtown group of people lining up potted plants on the street to provide a protected bike lane.

When I was at UW, I used to get passed and flipped off by bikers on the Burke-Gilman trail of beers on the way to daWg games. I would drunkenly yell back "Did you forget what day it is? Livestrong wannabe motherfuckers!" and try to throw branches into the wheel spokes. Fuck those guys.

Bikes are popular in China.
Let's send them there. -
My favorite are the people riding side by side in the street and their 4 year old are their acting bumper in downtown.
So progressive -
Amazing how bad grammar can fuck up a very salient point.jecornel said:My favorite are the people riding side by side in the street and their 4 year old are their acting bumper in downtown.

You must be joking. Take responsibility for your choice to drive in downtown Seattle.

We put the children first in Seattle.jecornel said:My favorite are the people riding side by side in the street and their 4 year old are their acting bumper in downtown.

Seattle bike riding faggots are the worst.
-
You know what I found to fix this? I never moved back to Seattle after I graduated UW. Problem solved.

Denver/boulder/Ft. Collins cyclists take the cake here on entitled riding.
You should see these douche bags try to ride their bikes to work in the winter time with several inches or compact snow and ice on the roads.
Running red lights, sliding through intersections, riding on sidewalks... yet the 4 wheeled motorists must "share the road."
I tend to kick the ass end of my pickup truck out as I drive past. It's the fun thing to do.
Puckers those Sally riding plum smugglers awful quick when the old F150 's ass end gets squirrelly. -
As a pedestrian was actually hit by a bike trying to cross Eastlake Blvd once. Bitch decided to roll through a red light and I had the walk system.
-
Send them all to Savannah, Ga. Running over bike riders is a sport here. Really. These smug liberal assholes would die within 48 hours here.
(I ride a bike, but I'm not one of these progressive, green Seattle, no carbon footprint dip shits being discussed.) -

You were on his list of people who were banned or left the board. -

I like the idea of people riding bikes more, but yeah, some of those people are complete pricks. I hate being on a crowded busy street, stopped at a red light, and some fucking cyclist inches their way between the stopped cars to get in front of the car at the head of the line... then when the light turns green we're all stuck behind a slow moving cyclist. Ass fuck. Then if the light turns red... and they want to take a left, they suddenly jump onto the sidewalk and become a sidewalk user and take their left using the crosswalk.
Then again, there are some real pricks driving cars as well. -

I was giving my friend a ride home from h.s. (probably 1996) and passed this bike on a really dead sidestreet. He might have been going 8 mph and was in the middle of the block. I turned at the corner and went another full block. The guy comes up next to me and is probably 50 years old, and goes, "Hey butthead, what are you doing?", then rides off. I guess in his mind I cut him off? I tried to follow him just to fuck with him some, but he was gone.
The bikers here aren't real bad but it's flat and the streets are wide. I saw douches in Seattle running red lights, hogging lanes, & breaking 20 other traffic laws all the time. -
A lot of butt hurt stupidity in this thread.
And whining. Not that I would expect anything less. -
Thanks. Swaye is correct. Several of us were unofficially banned. Couldn't help myself with this one.....pretty funny.

The difference between being stupid and breaking traffic laws on a bike versus doing it in a car is a few thousand pounds. I'm no physics expert, but I can tell you that the car usually wins that battle. Bicyclists should recognize this fact and act accordingly.
-
Exactly. The whole concept of cycling in 21st century Seattle is deadly, dangerous, and stupid. Should just let natural selection do its work instead of bitch about it here.TheGlove said:A lot of butt hurt stupidity in this thread.

I'm glad you are back. Having all types of opinions keeps shit more lively around here. Well that, and lots of booze/blow. And hookers of course. Never forget the hookers. -
