But given the govt's propensity to stonewall any information, any resources etc etc etc, it's easy to be very suspicious.
That's not on me, that on the now typical lack of transparency for those that allegedly work for us.

I have a hard time making the leap to lasers or bond super weapons when $20 and a six pack to a local tweaker(which there are plenty of in Hawaii) would suffice.
Also, never assume malice when incompetence is the most likely explanation.
I deal with ROW all the time and local officials are both the most demanding and the least competent more often than not even for projects that benefit them. Stuff like maintaining a ROW to prevent environmental disasters... -
