Our 96-12 coach was losing to a team that finished 0-12 by double digits at halftime.
HTH
It's a 60 minute game. Chip Kelly would have been fired at the 50 yard line by Phil Knight if halftime scores mattered.
Link me the box score of a game where Chip Kelly found himself in a situation similar to being down 14 at half to Georgia Fucking State. Kelly was notorious for letting average Pac-12 teams hang (read: hang, not take the lead) with the ducks before blowing the doors off of them in the 2nd half. Georgia State is a division 2 caliber squad playing Sun Belt football. There is no Chip Kelly analogy here.

Fair point.
Irregardless, the poont is still mute and the preseason is mercifully over.

My biggest concern at this point are our coordinators. Though I will credit Cuntkowski for some very well diagrammed blitzing schemes.
We are going to need Shaw to go full fucktard next week to squeak it out. It could happen.
A good coach knows he can throw all day on every DB that isn't Peters. That's why Cal worries me too. It's going to be a frustrating season. Hopefully that frustration results in 10+ wins.
Disagree. That was the worst half of football since Tyrone. Georgia State is colossally bad. That we were able to get back on track and play the way we were supposed to does not erase that dumpster fire of a first half. Nobody gets fired yet, but we have some fucking work to do.

Would you feel any differently if the two halves were reversed? If so, light yourself on fire.
I would. I don't really give a fuck if a team gets up big early, starts putting in the second string, and just coasts. It's kind of annoying but I get over it after 10 seconds. It's not the same thing at all IMO

You are so fucking new at this.
Washington beats Stanford, and it might be rather easily.
We're all drinking and flow with the emotions of the game. Obviously all should be pleased that we came out in the second half and didn't roll over. I would want no part of that conversation with Peterman. I bet that man can give a serious ass chewing.
Here's my problem with the whole game. Our defense has some flaws, but I can see it improving. Our Rb's are learning and still figuring it out. WR's we're obviously just fine. Miles is really bad and IMO getting worse. He's not comfortable with the ball in any situation. He hates the pocket, runs sideways and can't see blitzes when guys are showing it for going on 20 seconds(at least one or two of these were also blown pickups by RBs). This is VERY concerning going forward. His arm is a lot worse than I thought. I haven't seen someone who has zero zip on his throws. They all looks like a banana going out there. I've watched a lot of football today and he is easily the worst arm on any squad i've seen today. I don't know if this is something he can or will improve somehow, but it's going to bite us as the season progresses. He can improve on his reads, and our RB's can improve on picking up some blitzes, but his arm is really concerning.

If you can't see that, pour additional cyanide in your eyeballs
Who's up for the game in Pullman? Go Cuogs

How do you like our chances next week?
They will be paying attention to Petersen all week long.
