I was at the ND game with atleast one, possibly two dads. That was a tough loss, ND was bigger and more physical as I recall. Captain Husky with the Pope costume was classic

Growing up as a Catholic and going to catholic schools (#myLancers), Notre Dame was an early favorite of mine along with UW. Living in Georgia in the early 90s, UW wasn’t on TV much but ND was and most of my friends/coworkers knew I was a fan of both.
Prior to this game, everyone was asking who I wanted to win. I couldn’t answer before the game but I walked into a bar to watch it and automatically said fuck those Irish.
