Real Dawgs wear Purple, not Black

Anyone remember the last time the Dawgs wore Purple & Gold for a Home Conference game ?
Try two seasons ago !
Now we have a New Stadium to show recruits, how about selling the Purple & Gold with it.
Washington is NOT ! Colorado, IOWA, IDAHO .....
We are the Mighty Purple & Gold,.
How many schools wear Purple & Gold in major college football ?
I can only think of two, Washington & LSU.
So lets be proud of the Purple & Gold, and not be like everyone else.
I know kids like Black, so let them go to Colorado. If the coaches think selling a Black jersey will help the Dawgs, then there not recruiting the right players. It should be about who we are, Washington !
College is about traditions, and the coaches talk about it, but aren't living up to it.
The Blackout theme was for Cancer !, not to change the colors of the school.
Be proud of the Purple & Gold and let the nation know we are, and the recruits will come.

I've got an old sheat shirt that came out right after Don quit that said, Real Men Wear Purple.
That's it. Screw all this frat house crap playing with colors to please an 18 year old. -

Husky Purple when I first saw it live at games in the 1960's was almost black. It was very dark sort of like a Navy or Notre Dame blue, except it was Purple. I've always liked that shade of Purple and wish that Sark would drop the black and replace it with the Husky Purple of the 1960's if he has to have something so dark. Last Xmas, I gave my daughter and son-in-law new Husky hoodies (per their request) and the Purple of these sweatshirts that I purchased at the University Book Store is very dark, almost black. They love the color and I believe it could be a hit if we must abandon the colors and glory of 1991. Because of Idaho and the Oregon State of old, I've always associated black with loser football and one Colorado is one too many IMO for the Pac-12.
