You don’t understand the damage those 3 previous coaches did.
Also, alcohol is one hell of a drug.
And IFL it. -
I bet he won a bunch of NY6 games at these prestigious institutions. Or at played in some. Or at least played in one right?

Completely disagree with Josh Pate, if Sark doesn't win his conference this year he's gone. They won't put up with getting embarrassed in the SEC.
-
there, there it is. put it on sarks tombstone.
whomst on the board posted this?!?! -
I think so too. The main argument for keeping him last year from Texas fans was that he was getting arch. Arch is on campus now and isn’t good. So if he doesn’t win why keep him?haie said:Completely disagree with Josh Pate, if Sark doesn't win his conference this year he's gone. They won't put up with getting embarrassed in the SEC.

Because this year's team is on a mission.ntxduck said:

What are Sark's biggest wins as a coach? That sure as hell has to be an underwhelming list.

Played Bama awful tuff. Just ran out of time. Still a big U (not quite a double U but still)WoolleyDoog said:What are Sark's biggest wins as a coach? That sure as hell has to be an underwhelming list.

2009 USC, 2012 Stanford, 2014 Boise State. Nothing at USC I think.WoolleyDoog said:What are Sark's biggest wins as a coach? That sure as hell has to be an underwhelming list.

This question put me to work.WoolleyDoog said:What are Sark's biggest wins as a coach? That sure as hell has to be an underwhelming list.
2009: UW finished 7th in conference, beat then #3 USC (finished #22) and #19 Cal (unranked).
2010: UW was 4th in Pac12 North, beat #18 USC (unranked) and #17 Nebraska (#20) in the Holiday Bowl.
2011: 3rd in North, didn’t beat any ranked team.
2012: 4th in North, beat #8 Stanford (#7) and #7 Oregon St (#20).
2013: 3rd in North, beat #19 Boise St (unranked). UW finished ranked at #25.
2014: USC tied for 2nd in Pac12 South, beat #13 Stanford (unranked) and #10 Arizona (#17). SC ranked #20 end of year. Preseason ranked #15.
2015: Sark fired after game 5 - Go Dawgs - didn’t beat any ranked team. Preseason ranked #8.
2021: Texas finished 7th in Big12, beat #23 Louisiana (#16). Preseason ranked #21.
2022: 3rd in Big12, beat #13 K State (#14). Texas ranked #25 end of year. Preseason ranked #18.
None of his teams except for 2013 UW finished ranked higher than preseason. Every UW team after 2009 received preseason votes in the polls.
His biggest wins? USC in 09, Stanford in 12, K State last year. IIRC, Stanford didn’t have their starter at QB that game just like USC had a backup in 09. -
lol oh yeah. Sark finally got a good win at Texas playing a team one or two tiers below him in talent level.
-
The 2009 win over USC was exciting on game day, but really amounted to nothing. They came in to that game lost with a barely functional QB. I thought the 2010 game was tougher and a more meaningful win even though SC finished bad that year too. That YUGE Holiday Bowel win couldn't have happened without the road upset of USC
-
Man, as I suspected a terrible list and funny he has nothing at USC or Texas.CFetters_Nacho_Lover said:

09 USC and 12 Stanford probably best at the time/on paper but really had more to do with backup/terrible QB play and the other time losing more than UW winning. 2010 Holiday Bowl one of my favorite wins but assume it was a lot of Nebraska quiet quitting on screaming Bo Pellini.
2010 USC and 2012 Beav probably his best wins. -
Thanks TaftCFetters_Nacho_Lover said:

Once in 9 seasons as HC. And that team went all the way up from "others receiving votes" to #25. -
And I'm pretty sure his 3 years before that went from preseason "others receiving votes" to no votes at all.dnc said:

Since I'm at it, I'm looking at where Sark finished overall in conference for the years the Pac had divisions (2011-2015):
2011 - T 4th overall
2012 - 3 way tie for 5th overall
2013 - 6th overall
2014 - 3 way tie for 3rd overall
2015 - T 3rd overall after Sark was fired
His overall average is finishing 4.9 AKA 5th place. I almost feel bad for Texas fans. -

Because we’re stilling thinking about the time he almost beat LSU in 09.rodmansrage said:why is no one talking about sark almost beating bama last year?!?!?
