Bartoo also had Cristobal as the #2 coach in the country at one point, so his methodology seems….not great

Lanning has been fine from a HC gameday perspective. What He needs to do is to tell tosh to gtfo. Until then, he will always drop 2-3 games a year where the D gets absolutely torched.
Didn’t he lose 2 games this year after having gone for it on 4th down damn near the opponent red zone and fail that led to direct points and a L?

Both were the right decision. The only way to win was to keep Oregon’s “defense” off the field.

How many plays does penix have UW at the spot where Oregon went for it from, if Oregon had punted it 45 yards instead? 2? 3?

You at least engage with it in a meaningful way and aren't a pussy. And you make good points consistently.

Yes, Lanning was aggressive. I don't fault him for anything but the first half onside kick to UW.

He should have found a way to put the Platypus Cup away. That is the main red flag with him.

Greenblood is also a poster that has really good takes.

Oregon could do well with Lanning. They don't need an elite coach like Washington does. But as a 36 year old, I don't get the shit he does and he seems like he's immature and needs everything around him to be great for him to succeed. We will see.

If I were a Duck I would have wanted them to throw everything at Kiffin. Just me though.

Kiffin is about that salt life. He’s never leaving the south for the rest of his life.

I agree jury is out on Lan Danning, but not Kiff. I used to be a believer, but hiring him is almost an admission you're not aiming for a natty.
