I swear he wasn’t considered because he’d built a winner using transfers before the portal was a thing. Cohens wisdom and foresight decided that was too seedy an underbelly for her jalopy of a program and hired a career assistant. Now her shitty MBB program tears down and rebuilds itself through transfers on the yearly. Well done Jen.dnc said:
Good thing we didn't hire Musselman!Quietcowskee said: -
Holy shit that is embarrassing.dnc said:

Cohen is a fucking disaster. -
Is that kid supposed to be good or something?
Edit: had no clue he played for UW this year. Shows how much I think and care about UW hoops. I couldn't name one kid on the roster. -

This kid is a true PG. He averaged14 pts. 7.4 assists as a sophomore at Georgia and 10 pts. 6.9 asst. as a junior at Kentucky. He averages almost as many assists per game as UW did as a team. Hurt most of last year. He’s a short term answer for Menifield. Not as explosive but certainly more steady. If your scoring options are:Quietcowskee said:Crystal dong Kentucky PG https://ukathletics.com/sports/mbball/roster/player/sahvir-wheeler/
1. Brooks
2. Wheeler
3. Johnson
4. Moses
5. Williams
That’s not too bad and a general upgrade over last years roster. Add in Meah, Kepnang and Yates and this is a fairly talented group of guys. When a healthy Noah Williams is your fifth or maybe your sixth best scoring option that’s alright. Id still like to see one more big. A PF that has muscle and attitude. The team is relatively experienced which usually bodes well for success. Brooks, Wheeler, Williams and Kepnang all in their fifth seasons, Meah, Holland and Moses in their fourth. Johnson in his second and Yates as a true Frosh. I’m sure Hopkins will fuck it all up though. The new offense will look like the old one and will be unwatchable. Plus they will still play 85% zone but a homer can hope. Life is better when UW basketball is top four in the P12. My breath won’t be held but fingers are definitely crossed. I’m more hopeful now than I was two weeks ago. -

Watch him average 16 a game next year shooting the ball with confidence in a functional offense.haie said:lol what the actual fuck

I really wish UW Hoops garnered even the smallest bit of interest simply because it would be fun to refer to this guy as BAGINAhaie said:lol what the actual fuck

Is Utah going for the white supremacy angle in hoops? That's a LOT of crackers on one team.

Browns forte is toughness and defense. So another year of unwatchable offense is incoming. Perfect.Quietcowskee said:

If Jen is that fucking stupid to give Hopkins ANY credit for Larry Brown potentially fixing this shitshow, she can go fuck herself.theknowledge said:

A world may exist where Brown is the Tedford to Hopkins' Petersen.

Some folks actually defended Emmert with their gloves off.

We got the starting Rutgers pg that Xavier and Notre Dame wanted, stating NIL as the reason we got him.

This roster has a bunch of pieces. The two new PGs together averaged almost as many assists per game as the entire UW roster combined. You’ve got a couple shooters, three players over 6’10” that have logged real CBB minutes, a couple young guards that could pop and a legit all conference small forward. I have zero confidence that Hopkins, even with HOF Larry Brown sitting next to him, will put it all together for a fun season. I’ll watch it all though because I’m a sucker, a loser and I hate myself.

I hate myself but I will not watch. It really is just a shitty product. College basketball is a tough watch until March as it is and our program is limp. 5 mins into it I am always asking why am I even watching this?theknowledge said:This roster has a bunch of pieces. Kill the program with fire.

It’s the hate for one’s self that allows for the viewing of the unwatchable. If you had self respect you wouldn’t even watch the five minutes. The five minutes makes you loath yourself, then the drinking, then gracefully the game is over and whoops! You've done it to yourself again. Husky basketball is perfect for persons such as us. Embrace the spiral, the abyss has no bottom to touch nor light to see how far you’ve sunk.AtomicDawg said:
