Interesting read given how shitty our D has looked

This guy is based out of Washington so I think he's a little biased. All of the projections seem high, at least right now.
-
Three dudes in the first round? Pass me what he is smoking...
-
I agree that he's a little high(on some of our guys), but the poont remains: there is a lot of talent on our D. I want some talent on my D. BRB, JO.

Oh no doubt. Peters, Thompson (sometimes), Shelton and Kikaha. All NFL players. They just aren't all first rounders...

Not right now, but it's not crazy to think that they could blow up this year and approach that come draft time in May or whenever the fuck the draft is. I'm personally hoping that Shaq sticks around for his Sr year, but that's probably just doogish on my part. Peters ain't sticking around, he's way too edgy.Swaye said:Oh no doubt. If they all blow up and end up first rounders, that means has D has crushing people, which I support.EsophagealFeces said:

I wouldn't be surprised if Shelton goes first...he can play NT in a 3-4 or 1 tech in the 4-3...bet he could even play some 5 tech in a 3-4.
He's making more impact plays this year (we'll see if he can draw double-teams against 'Furd) and they just don't make many athletic guys like him. -
If there is this much talent on the D, then Kawasaki better pull his head out of his ass.

Shelton, Peters and Shaq in top 32 according to Rob Rang. Hopefully Shaq stays another year. -
I don't think it's out of the question. He seems to like Peterman's style and may realize that he's actually getting coached now and enjoy getting better as a player.2001400ex said:http://mweb.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/story/24704725/big-board-hundleys-habits-hurting-ucla-quarterbacks-stock?v=1&vc=3

The young, injured secondary got exposed by ewu. Other than that the d has been fine, and should get better.PurpleReign said:If there is this much talent on the D, then Kawasaki better pull his head out of his ass.

Too many questions about Williams. I almost gave up and stopped reading. He's the least productive and least interesting player discussed and took up over half of the article.

We have to remember Peterman doesn't go get blitzed after a win.
He goes to the film room and based on what he says he not only looks at player development he also looks at coaching opportunities.
Things will only get better. -
Shelton could easily make first round. Peters possibly, depends on this year. I doubt very much Thompson does unless he just goes on a tear the rest of the year (admittedly the two TD's helped last game)...I think the NFL will see Thompson as a tweener.

I dont think it is out of the question Peters, Shelton, and Thompson all get drafted in the first round. The problem with our Defense is we have 4 good players. 1 decent one (Timu) then either a bunch of inexperienced or just straight bad.
