    San Diego is super nice in the tourist area - Gaslamp District and the waterfront.

    It is an absolute SHITHOLE mere blocks away. Not quite Seattle/SF/LA shithole but damned close.

    SD politicians are quite adept at trumpeting how they've 'conquered' homelessness. Spokane fell victim to this when they hired their current city administrator from there. Complete imbecile who has swept the Riverfront Park area but turned other neighborhoods into shitholes instead.

    Funny - no homeless camps in Post Falls or CDA a mere hop skip and a jump away.

    It’s still the best large city in California.
