Chargers played an excellent game yesterday. Made some huge plays that were hard to defend. Seahawks were terrible on 3rd down, couldn't get to the quarterback. Draw plays and little dink and dunk passes crushed them.

It is what it is, a loss in week 2. Not a big deal as long as the clean it up. Too many people thought this team was invincible even though their depth took quite a hit from last year.

Offense was fine, they just were never on the field.

The Chargers are a pretty good team. Chancellor, Wagner, and Irvin all barely played or missed the entire preseason. Losing Thurmond in free agency and Lane to injury really hurts the secondary. The guys replacing them are pretty much bottom of the barrel guys. Nickel corner is a real weakness right now. Maybe Simon can fill in when he gets back, but he's a bigger corner and might be best suited to stay outside. It might take a little time for the defense to look like they did last week.

Agree about everyone thinking the Seahawks are invincible. There is no such thing in the NFL. When the Hawks beat the Broncos this weekend, the 12's will think the Seahawks are untouchable again.

I thought burley was okay Sunday. If we're looking at this team's defensive issues on Sunday nickel CB would be low on that list. The LBers were the ones exposes even though I believe they will bounce back. The offensive line to be an issue again, wiw

5 catches for 55 yards without a score. Maybe he should get off of Gates' back before he talks shit. This would be like any Chicago Bull sans Scottie Pippen talking shit after winning, By riding on the back of Jordan.
