Stanford has been building a program for 25+ years. They put up some good V8s from time to time but never seem to get all the way to the level necessary.
Unless this Tim it’s different. -
Stanford certainly isn't a blue blood for Row Boat. They didn't even have a program when I was in school. But if they really started to care about Row Boat and have the schollies, then the academis piece should make them competitive. There's no pro row boat after all and row peter puffers are the most cerebral of student athletes so the Stanford degree is attractive.whlinder said:Stanford has been building a program for 25+ years. Oregon State has a Varsity program but with no scholarships they will never be able to compete with CAL, Washington and Stanford. -

My high level sources conveyed to me that the V8 had a very good pre IRA week of training out in Delaware and picked up a ton of speed.
