    Yew trees are supposedly toxic to cattle and horses, on the Lebam farm, I got rid of two small yew trees the easy way - the goats ate them. No problems with the goats until they started eating the Rhododendrons - I had to demolish and or replant those immediately.

    CSB Tim: Everyone assumes my daughter's name is "Sienna" like the minivan and not "Siena" like the city in Italy after which she was named. It was only dumb luck that her hair is the exact color of the buildings there, so I could understand not seeing the connection, but, come on... I like minivans, but that much?
    Bruh, I live in the world capital of the modestly (2 inch) lifted AWD Toyota Sienna!

    You can still get through a deep snow drift and down the rough USFS road to the lake and still get the cargo space and MPG.

    The Highlander Sienna brings back fond memories of a hot divorcee' back in the pre-Mrs. Throbber v2.0 days. She was rebounding, the Throbber was rebounding, bellies slapped. She drove a tricked out Sienna circa 2003.

    The type of firewood matters immensely. Fortunately you live down there in hardwood cuntry.

    Out west, the Pinion pine is by far the best. It's the hardwood of confiners. Damn near as hard as oak with similar BTU output.

    Most of your regular pine and firs are shit firewood.
    Ash is awesome firewood.

    @Logistics true ?
    This example has been used in pilot training for many airlines. No one was minding the store (flying the airplane) and there was no division of tasks & duties.

    Captain was allegedly a bit of a tyrant. That never helps with the whole team-building concept.

    I know the WOOD burns well. If it doesn’t, I don’t get more from that guy or gal.

    I would like to request changing my vote to Sage Brush, because they powered the little sage brush camp town I grew up in.

    Spent time last week at an old growth redwood stand in the Santa Cruz mountains near Casa De Bears Winn. I'm changing my vote.

    Redwoods might be the most magnificent living things on the planet. One's neck hurts bending upwards to gaze at the awe inspiring heights. Our kids were blown away.

    Can't believe you spent so much time in the Ponderosa Pine camp. Those are hell trees. We had about 30 in our yard in Post Falls when I was a youngin'. I spent half my summer picking up pinecones and half the fall trying to rake up the needles. Absolutely terrible trees.

    The GNR compound is all ponderosa. I can’t even guess how many trees - several hundred? Fucking pine needles. Everywhere.
