About time a running back showed something. Tied with safeties for worst position group last few years

If that Miss State RB isn't better than Cam Davis I'll be pissedCanadawg said:About time a running back showed something. Tied with safeties for worst position group last few years

Davis is OK but same here. They should be able to do better than Davis. I think this guy will be. Not by a mile but by a fair amount.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

Davis is too slow through the hole and is basically average at making guys miss.
Towelpopper was at least pretty quick to find the right lane.
An above average back would mean the world to this team. Uw really took care of Texas when they leaned on the run.
They need more of that. -
Davis is and was much better at getting positive yards, hence why he became the touchdown maker and short yardage guy. Everyone was frustrated early about the short yardage struggles especially on the goal line. When Davis started taking most/all of those the struggles went away.Kingdome_Urinals said:Davis is too slow through the hole and is basically average at making guys miss.

Davis was stronger at the point of contact which is why he was better near the goal line where running plays are predictable and power is preferred.chuck said:

Wayne was a quicker starter and throughout the Los quicker overall between the 20s. -
All the RBs were WAY below average at making people miss. We were the worst in the PAC by far.Kingdome_Urinals said:Davis is too slow through the hole and is basically average at making guys miss.

Johnson and one of Culp/Westover has 45+ catches. Boston and Germie will be sick in their limited targets.

Davis has a really weird running style and some odd limitations. He can cut ince and goz and not much more. It does keep the ball moving down the field but I agree, there should be someone better.Kingdome_Urinals said:

If we have a RB that is 25% better than Taulapappa, the offense will be other worldly.Kingdome_Urinals said:

Tualapapa looked like the best player on the field at times against TexasKingdome_Urinals said:Davis is too slow through the hole and is basically average at making guys miss.
