Walked into an REI the other day. Basic name brand shirts $60-$80 dollars. Shorts, $60-75 bucks. Some smart wool shirts are over a 100. Jackets 150-300 dollars. A decent running shoe 130-150 bucks. Hoka’s can push 200 bucks.
I’m sorry, but these prices are a complete joke. Who is buying this shit at these prices?

There's a local place where I tried to buy a backpack. Similar story. The mean price was probably $125. I tried Big 5 too. Their selection isn't as good as it was. Dick's is too woke. I finally just got one off Amazon. It still seemed steep for a gd backpack but it was under $100.

It’s crazy. A small flash pack is 50 bucks.

REI went Woke before it was fashionable. Used to have their credit card and bought lots of outdoor stuff there. Stopped shopping there and stopped using their credit card. US Bank actually cancelled my account after a while. FTG's

The era of "got to have it" is in full swing. Prices are jacked up and people just buy on credit. Nothing to worry about
