Guessing injury history with both.

They still played really solid this past year. Penix was untouched all year in the pocket.CFetters_Nacho_Lover said:Guessing injury history with both.
Odd they didnt go in the 6th or 7th -
Kind of amazing to see Kirkland go undrafted after being projected as a first-rounder in 2021
Guess teams were weary after the ankle injury/surgery caused him to withdraw from the 2022 draft -
More proof that you get the bag while you can.whatshouldicareabout said:Kind of amazing to see Kirkland go undrafted after being projected as a first-rounder in 2021

Hopefully this has a better ending than Trey Adams -
Bad underwear Olympics and I assume the teams that were interested realized they didn't need to use a draft pick on them. I think both have pretty good chances of sticking for a bit.
The one I think got fucked the worst was Martin. I think hew an NFL player and would've shown the measurables to get drafted if they had given him a combine invite. -
Kirkland didn't look good at combine

I heard he had some back issues as well.whatshouldicareabout said:Kind of amazing to see Kirkland go undrafted after being projected as a first-rounder in 2021

You have to draw the line somewhere...

I'm surprised about Kirkland. I figured he was fifth at worst. I don't even know who Bain is. The Montana hangover plus all the transfer portal shit and other things killed so much of my interest...

They were all late round guys.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:I'm surprised about Kirkland. I figured he was fifth at worst. I don't even know who Bain is. The Montana hangover plus all the transfer portal shit and other things killed so much of my interest...
College fans taking NFL GM opinions as gospel is fucking rich though. -
Kalepo was better than Kirkland. Hatchet is much more athletic than Bain (slowest 40 at combine).
There's a world where Washington will be better next year by end of season. -
The team went 11-2 last year. ChristFire_Marshall_Bill said:I'm surprised about Kirkland. I figured he was fifth at worst. I don't even know who Bain is. The Montana hangover plus all the transfer portal shit and other things killed so much of my interest...

Kirkland sucked when he came back. He was playing at an nfl level by the end of season though.Doogles said:Kalepo was better than Kirkland. Hatchet is much more athletic than Bain (slowest 40 at combine).

Medicals for both + Bain tested like shit. I was shocked Jeremiah didn't get a sniff in r7.

Clearly not as good as everyone thought. Just as season before and they were both crap. With a new coach and offense 11-2 record based solely on a qb who got rid of the ball fast and an offense that took advantage of strengths. That team clearly played above its talent, a testament to a great coach and system.

I personally want the NFL players to play for Washington not the god damn Browns
