There are some notable omissions here- e.g., Ringo. But I thought I'd stick to the biggest names left on the board. Rod, Elton, etc, we'll leave for the 70s.

I blew off mid-terms in 81 to see the Stones, because, "There is no way Keith will be alive in 6 months"... and rumor has it that he recently quit drinking and smoking...tick-tick-tick...

Keith is the easy choice. There's has to be some lunch cancer brewing in there at some point. But then again, maybe Keith is like one of those skinny 90 year old Chinamen that smoked their entire life and never got the big C.

I doubt his giving up Camels 10 to 15 years ago will have made a difference.

None of these guys is a fatty either, other than the Belfast Cowboy.

    It's hard to pick.

    Keith too easy.

I considered all the guys who I know had serious and lasting drug issues, specifically with heroin. Then I randomly chose one.

Keith has been the easy choice for the last 55 years or so…if not for Merck and a pristine supply of smack, he prolly would have been right behind Brian…he is one tough MF’er, that’s for sure

But Jimmy has the fountain of youth tapped.

If I played guitar I'd be Jimmy Page, the gurlies he likes are underage.

    Agree.

And no one on the message board is a bigger Beatles fan than Yella. But Paul hasn't made good music in nearly 50 years. George, at least, had a decent late 80s run and John had a good comeback album before he go whacked.

I voted for him only because I have picked him in so many dead pools that I have to be right one of these times. So the obvious pick should have been McCartney, his voice died long ago, or Jagger, there is not enough meat on him to last a week with a mild batch of the Vid

Everyone is talking about the difference between Keith Richards circa 1981 and Keith Richards now.

You will see a much improved Keith Richards on 9/1.
