Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.
looks like ION turned us down, boys
On Thursday, a person with knowledge of the Pac-12 media rights discussions told The Athletic a deal for 2024-25 and beyond won’t likely be announced until “late spring, early summer.”wilner? by your timeline, the p10 will be dead by then.
The delay may be in part because of the emergence of a new potential partner. Two sources indicated there have been recent discussions between the Pac-12 and The CW, a national over-the-air broadcast network better known for scripted shows like “Gossip Girl,” “Supernatural” and “Riverdale.” Since purchasing The CW Network last year, parent company Nexstar Media Group has expressed interest in procuring live sports rights, announcing in January a deal with LIV Golf.after arizona/boovs, stay tuned for an all new gossip girl!
Is it time for Pac-12 schools and their fans to panic? Not necessarily.agree, we?'ve already given up.
Washington State president Kirk Schultz told the Mercury News’ Jon Wilner in February: “My sense is we need to get it done in March — in mid-March, hopefully.” Oregon State’s Jayathi Murthy expressed much of the same in an interview with John Canzano. Then came Arizona State’s Crow and Arizona’s Robbins, both making a deal sound imminent by late March.trooj/bRuins pulled a fast/smart one, good for them.
