Dixon

I'm enamored by how Dixon could be this bad as a 5th year senior. I get being lit by oregon here and there, but losing out to Illinois Wr time and again is scary for the pac-12 schedule. I know at least one was a busted coverage, I just don't like to see QB's picking on one side of the field. It makes it more than apparent that everyone knows you shouldn't be out there.

Does anyone think he has a shot to improve with game time experience or is this what we're gonna get?

I'm surprised that you're surprised by this.

He was coached by Sark for 4 years.

He's gonna continue to get beat like a rented mule. Late over the top safety support in cover 2 doesn't help, but he is terrible on release at the snap.

He is what he is at this point. Long live Dude Brah's epic recruiting...

I actually like his physical style. The one TD was once again on our S for getting over late in a zone coverage. The second TD he just whiffed on his bump and it was over. Similar to what happened to Baker on the 4th down TD vs. EWU.

But I think Jones has played himself into a starting role, and I would like to see Dixon get more time vs. the slot and let Budda move back and take over 1 of the S spots and give Walker more time.

The only reason to have hope is that practice is just practice man(insert your best iverson image) and wonder if the game speed/preseason will actually help tune him up. He wasn't awful the whole game, but was certainly beat for a couple big plays. It doesn't mean he was terrible all game. Without being able to watch him on all the throws I couldn't really tell how often he looked bad.

Didn't realize Sark was coaching at Alabama and the JC he went to.

But yeah, Peters and Jones are the starting CBs and I'm comfortable with that.
Agreed. I think you give sark a tip of the cap for getting the guy in the door to at least help the CB's situation. Granted it hasn't worked out, but not everyone will. This is certainly not one that should be pinned on Sark.

Can't we just be happy we are 3-0?
