Real question and for those of you who know me (none of you) you know I know that you know that I don’t know shit.
Penix is holding the ball low and close (ball protection yes?) then at the end has to stop, load up that massive turret and fire that bitch for a strike.
Question is, and it’s serious damnit, why isn’t he closer to that firing position??

I think you nailed it, it's ball protection. I don't think he has a slow delivery by any means.
